Most org charts start as a slide. Titles drift. Open seats disappear. Nobody can click a box and see who owns the seat, or which job description and scorecard sit behind it.
Our Org Chart Builder flips the order. You build seats first: an editable department header, a seat name, and a person (or Open). One person can hold several seats. Seats link out to job description and scorecard docs on Google Drive, Docs, SharePoint, or OneDrive. A collapsible roster panel keeps the people list handy. Keyboard shortcuts speed the build (Tab for a direct report, Enter for a seat beside, F2 to rename, plus undo and redo), with a shortcut legend on the page. Share a view-only link, export PNG or PDF, or start from a spreadsheet import template.
Sign in with an email magic link. The sample chart uses Summit Mechanical, a made-up company, so you can see the pattern without putting a real roster on screen. Open the builder, stand up the seats, then assign the people.
Summit Mechanical is a made-up sample company. All names and seats shown in demos are fictional.
